I am a passionate first-generation Latina student in STEM, dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and breaking barriers in my field. Since the summer of 2018, I've been actively engaged in undergraduate research under the mentorship of Dr. Ramirez at CSUF. Dr. Ramirez's research is dedicated to exploring novel inhibitor combinations for Acinetobacter baumannii, contributing to advancements in antibiotic resistance solutions.Additionally, I am proud to have participated in the Bridges to Stem Cell Research (BSCR) program at CSUF (2021-2022), immersing myself in stem cell research for 12 months and gaining invaluable experience. Currently, I am conducting cutting-edge research at Stanford University within the Weissman lab, focusing on Hematopoietic Stem Cells.Having obtained my bachelor’s in molecular and biotechnology in Spring 2023, my goal is to further my education and laboratory experience through graduate school. I am driven to make meaningful contributions to the scientific community and look forward to the next chapter in my academic journey.
