TutorPrinceton Tutoring Mar 2017 - Present· Tutored students both individually and in groups in a wide range of topics (AP Physics 1, 2, and C, AP Calculus ABand BC, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, SAT, ACT). All students have seen substantial improvementsin their academic performance.· Wrote and assigned problems to students that are tailored to their strengths and weaknesses.· Am now seamlessly moving tutoring sessions to an online format.· Communicated students’ progress and individualized needs to parents -

Senior Thesis Research (Astrophysics)The University Of Tokyo Jun 2019 - May 2020Bunkyo-Ku, Tokyo, Jp·With my advisors Professor Michael Strauss and Professor John Silverman, I am selecting quasars that have faded over time using SDSS and HSC catalogs in order to further select for visible hostgalaxies.· Using/writing code to deconvolve the point source quasars and its host galaxy while discovering its limitations.· Exploring properties of brightness-variable quasars. -
Research Paper (Astrophysics): Searching For Galactic Feedback In A Luminous Radio-Quiet AgnPrinceton University Feb 2019 - May 2019Princeton, Nj, Us·Advised by Prof. Jenny Greene and Dr. Andy Goulding, I performed a detailed case study of J1000+1242, a low redshift galaxy containing a pair of quasars, one of which issuspected to be a radio-quiet type II AGN with a large outflow that could be indicative of feedback in a radio-quiet AGN.· Subtracted HST narrow band image of the object from HST medium band image so the morphology of its extended gas clouds could be visible in [OIII].· Calculated estimates of energetic properties of extended gas clouds given their morphologies in [OIII] and concluded it is likely that they were ejected by a radio-quiet active nucleus -
Research Paper (Cosmology): Disentangling Galactic Foregrounds Using Non-Gaussian StatisticsPrinceton University Sep 2018 - Jan 2019Princeton, Nj, UsAdvised by Breakthrough prize winner Professor Jo Dunkley, I wrote a paper on disentangling galactic foregrounds (like dust emissions or synchrotron emissions) from the CMB using non-Gaussian statistics. I used simulated models of the CMB and foreground to determine how easily non-gaussian foreground signals could be separated from the CMB using kurtosis and skew. I then compared the 3-sigma skewness/kurtosis of a large sample of randomly generated CMB maps to skewness/kurtosis of maps of the CMB with foreground to compare and gain insight on whether or not statistically significant non-gaussian behavior can be reliably attributed to dust and synchrotron emissions in sky maps using kurtosis and skew. -
Research (Particle Physics)Cern Jun 2018 - Aug 2018Meyrin, Genève, ChWith my advisors Professor Dan Marlow and Dr. Alexis Kalogeropoulos, I worked with CERN's CMS super-symmetry group on simulated proton-proton collisions at 14 Terra electron Volts. These collisions were simulated in preparation for maintenance to the Large Hadron Collider that would allow collisions to be made at higher energies in the search for stop squark production. (Super symmetric theory predicts the existence of stop squarks). During my time at CERN, I modified existing b-tagging and skimming routines using ROOT, an object-oriented program and library devolved by CERN. -
Educational Content CreatorNew Jersey Center For Teaching And Learning (Ctl) Jun 2015 - Sep 2016Mahwah, Nj, UsI created tests, quizzes, and practice problems for AP Physics C, AP Physics 1, and AP Physics 2 that are used in classrooms all over the world. I also voiced and recorded educational videos to go along with problem sets for AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2. -
InternNew Jersey Institute Of Technology Sep 2015 - May 2016Newark, Nj, UsConducted electrical engineering research in the NJIT Biophysics lab with Professor Gordon Thomas, along with graduate students and undergraduate students. Worked on NJIT's Vibration Powered Impact Recorder (VPIR) project to create a sensor using piezoelectric materials that detects damage to equipment used by the US army. The data is used to determine whether or not certain equipment is safe for military use.
