Customer facing in an extremely busy branch. As well as serving customers on a daily basis & helping them with their queries - e.g, lodgments / withdrawals / foreign exchange / taking forms for new accounts etc. I was also the foreign exchange cashier. I kept a diary with customers orders for their currency & amount & would order from Central Bank on a weekly basis. I updated the Bureau De Change board every morning. I balanced the foreign cash til along with my own every evening. I was the 'fast lodgment' cashier. Ensuring the box was emptied numerous times a day. This had to be emptied by myself & a colleague where we both counted the envelopes out, & recorded & signed the sheet which was filed away along with the empty envelopes at the end of each day for audits. I would also lodge the money / cheques into the accounts from the fast lodgement envelopes. & I would help to fill the ATM whenever this needed doing too. This was another agency position, so I left here as I was offered a permanent position elsewhere.
