After graduating from Michigan State University with a BA/MS in Accounting and specialization in Information Systems, I spent five years in IT audit and consulting with Ernst & Young, where I furthered my interest and expertise in how technology influences businesses process. I furthered my career in IT and financial audit and consulting roles in the private sector with Chrysler Financial and O-I, before joining my current employer GE. I bring a unique skill set to an IT team being a certified public accountant (CPA). I love opportunities to solve complex problems leveraging my finance and technology background. I like to work by recognizing a challenge but focusing on the solution. I enjoy leading diverse, mission-based teams to deliver on customer needs. I am also passionate about supporting the development and advancement of young girl's and women through STEM initiatives.
