Throughout my career I have worked directly with executives and leaders to help them articulate their plans, strategies, and visions to employees and external audiences. Whether as an individual contributor or a senior lead at a public relations agency, I stay current on emerging technologies such as generative AI, blockchain, Web3, and cyber security. For executive communications and speechwriting, I often rely on my experience leading corporate communications teams, conducting primary research, managing public relations agencies and social media teams, and working cross-functionally to develop business, product, and communications strategies. I have a 360-degree approach to strategic planning and execution. It is so important now for leaders to consistently communicate with purpose in order to inspire, influence and drive actions, change, and decisions both internally and externally. Whether a company is experiencing growth through M&A, re-organizing to improve operational efficiency, trying to determine how best to incorporate AI, or being challenged by ongoing transformation, changing market dynamics, culture shifts, or all of the above, my experience in developing these communications strategies also includes the ability to identify, then evolve the relevant take-aways and opportunities for sales, marketing, partners, IR, and HR to leverage. I utilize my investigative journalism education to research everything, collaborate with solution owners and thought leaders to simplify the industry language and craft stories that can evolve over time. With a more relatable, relevant story to tell, the ability to create a whole new category, get better positioned in analyst reports, and drive earned media become more doable and ultimately help to deliver better business outcomes.
