Initiating, preparing, and oversee a budget for initiatives while Orchestrate and facilitating events. Such for Earth Week (this is the 3rd year that I am co-chairing this event), all activities must be planned and proposed for institution approval one academic quarter in advance; components includeo Earth day festival in the PSU park blocks with over 60 organizations participate o Booked bands and hosted concerts o Co-hosted Kelley Point Park cleanup which is a large-scale stewardship event • Collaborate with different organizations and community partners in the implementation of PSU Social Sustainability Month activities• Maintain a living Memorandum of Understanding which a living policy document to inform chairs, campus and community partners, to coordinate and inform our work on the BottleDrop policy • Run an on-campus recycling program (BottleDrop) • Hosted large speaking engagements and facilitated panels

• Earth Week event coordination including Bike Fair, Documentary Monday, Environmental Sustainability Professionals Panel, Sustainability Expo with live music, Environmental Dance Party, Environmental Games, Kelly Point Park Clean Up, outreach and coordination of sponsors including EPA, Lacrosse Footwear, Keen, TOAST, SOLVE• Coordinated installation of compost container in the Student Union; taught composting to students and staff• Coordinated volunteers for grant-funded initiatives• Developed partnerships with local CBOs including Nature Conservancy, Drive Oregon, Portland Parks, and Recreation• Developed partnerships with other clubs on campus including Recovery Club, MEChA, Black Student Union • Organized and orchestrated a week of activities for earth week with co-chair•Co-Organized 26 successful events in 2015 – 2016; wrote a grant to replace plastic straws with paper straws district-wide, built tiny houses for the homeless, co-organized Earth Week events including picking up 1,480 pounds of trash and abating 1,000 invasive plants
