Michelle joined the School District of Manatee County Construction Services as a Project Director in May of 2024. She is a state certified General Contractor, and a LEED® BD+C Accredited Professional. She previously led some exciting projects with USF Facilities Management as a Project Manager from August of 2022 through May 2024. She is a state certified General Contractor, and a LEED® BD+C Accredited Professional. After 22 years with E. M. Scott General Contractor, the family made the decision to close the company. She served the company as Project Manager, Estimator, Safety Director, and eventually as President. Michelle is active in the community and performs a significant amount of volunteer work for non-profit organizations. She is a past board Member of National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), and has served on the ABC Carpentry Trades Committee.
