In this role, I draw on my experience as Communications Manager in CSIRO's Preventative Health National Research Flagship, where my key focus was promoting its research in the key areas of bowel cancer and gut health.With a close family member recently beating bowel cancer through early stage detection, and my own experience having a pre-cancerous polyp removed, I'm extremely passionate about raising awareness for the prevention and early detection of bowel cancer.
