As the Program Manager for Glatfelter Healthcare, I have the privilege to work with a very talented team of underwriters, salespersons, and loss control specialist. The Glatfelter Healthcare program protects the people and organizations that take care of our aging communities.  Entering my 25th year in the insurance industry I continue to find new and exciting challenges. My role as Program Manager requires my ability to analyze the book of business, set underwriting strategy, recognize trends, create policy language, and grow our underwriting talent. Recognizing and encouraging new talent is one of the many highlights of my career. At Glatfelter, I am able to put my past experience to use. As a former broker with both Marsh and Willis I understand the importance of building a complete risk management solution including the use of risk transference with a robust insurance solution. As a program underwriter, I understand the importance of setting terms, conditions, and pricing to continue to offer that robust insurance solution!The Glatfelter Healthcare sales and underwriting team has over 75 combined years of experience with Hospice organizations. Our Professional Liability loss control representative has a PhD in Nursing and utilizes the knowledge gained while managing a large healthcare organization to help our insureds find solutions to mitigate loss potential. Prior to joining Glatfelter, I was the Alliance (program) Specialist for Chubb Financial Lines. I was responsible for Financial Lines programs totaling over $40,000,000 in written premium, 130 unique strategies, and 11,000 policies. My role included analyzing each program and recommending renewal strategy. In addition to the renewal book, my responsibilities included analyzing potential new programs, development of terms and working with product managers, actuary, field underwriting to finalize strategy and pricing.
