Michelle hosts two political talk and current affairs shows with WNOV 860 AM. Michelle Bryant is currently a Chief of Staff with the Wisconsin State Legislature. A former Budget and Policy Director, Bryant staffed a member of the state’s powerful Joint Committee on Finance. Previous positions include Political Director, Chris Abele for Milwaukee County Executive, Political Director with Mary Burke for Wisconsin Gubernatorial campaign, Executive Director for African World Festival, Ltd., Chief of Staff with the Wisconsin State Senate, Policy Analyst, and Legislative Staff. In addition, she has worked for over 20 years with public and private organizations to provide ongoing training around issues of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Bryant is a trusted facilitator that has developed and provided training, seminars, and curriculum to address issues of Affirmative Action, Transgender Work Policies, Diversity, and Cross-Cultural Communication.Politically active with the Democratic Party, Michelle currently holds positions with the Democratic Party of Wisconsin (DPW) include DPW Administrative Committee Representative, DPW Black Caucus Chair, and 4th Congressional District Executive Committee Member.Bryant is also an EMERGE alum, former Center for Progressive Leadership Faculty member, a past board member for a number of non-profit groups, a campaign volunteer, and member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. Sorority.A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Michelle believes that we all have a social footprint. She strives to make sure that she leaves any situation better than she found it. When that is not possible, she is committed to learning from that experience. Born in Birmingham, Alabama and raised in New York, Bryant likes to say that she has been given the best of both worlds: Southern pragmatism and Northern tenacity. She uses that common sense approach to champion the issues that will move communities forward.

Responsible for candidate contact with specific constituency groups, organized their involvement with the campaign, to include elected officials, business community, labor, seniors, educators, veterans, faith leaders, communities of color, etc. Helped to build relationships, with both existing organizations and community leaders. Helped with commerical and advertising content, locations, and ad participants. Represented the candidate at community and campaign related events, staffed candidate at events and activities. Hosted community roundtable discussions and activites regarding campaign.

Responsible for southeastern Wisconsin for Mary Burke for Wisconsin Gubernatorial campaign and identifying and coordinating candidate contact with specific constituency groups, organized their involvement with the campaign, to include elected officials, business community, labor, seniors, educators, veterans, faith leaders, communities of color, etc. Helped to build relationships, with both existing organizations and community leaders. Worked and staffed national surrogates and federal elected officials that appeard on behalf of the campaign, assisted with commerical and advertising locations, and ad participants. Represented the candidate at community and campaign related events, staffed candidate at events and activities. Hosted community roundtable discussions and activites regarding campaign.

Responsible for working with Board of Directors to administer a number of programs, to include the largest African-American cultural festival in the midwest. Managed the day to day operations, volunteers, vendors, and grant programs. Created and produced marketing materials, festival brochures, sponsorship packages, and advertising content. Negotiated and contracted national entertainers, handling all aspects of travel, accomodations and contract riders. Produced and managed concerts and fundraising activities to sold out venues, developed a Human Trafficking program and obtained funding, created and administered Back to School workshops, school supplies and scholarship programs.
