The Regional Renewable Organics Network (RRON) project collaborates with six regional councils to explore opportunities to reduce organic waste to landfill. The RRON will be able to take local commercial, industrial and household organic waste and convert it into nutrient-rich products that improve soil for agricultural uses, as well as clean energy. Project benefits:• Leads the way in our region’s transition to a circular economy, where materials are reused and recycled to increase their life span and reduce waste.• Processes 40,000 tonnes of our region’s organic waste each year into valuable resources such as nutrient rich soil enhancers.• Generates renewable energy at the facility and contributes to a reduction in emissions each year.Accountabilities include:• Deliver on key project objectives by managing key risks, commercials, program and resourcing requirements on project.• Engagement with key stakeholders from local government, universities, industry partners, community and local businesses to drive best outcomes for the project.• Partnering with regional councils to create open successful engagement, through building strong relationships on the project. • Explore innovative technologies and markets to support overall project deliverables.

Lead Environmental approvals, and compliance on projects (Western Outer Ring Main) which includes:• Manage delivery of EES and EPBC approvals on project.• Manage all aspects of EES process (including defining scoping requirements, coordinating all surveys required for technical reports, EES documentation, TRG and stakeholder engagement).• Develop strong relationships and influence internal-external stakeholders, regulatory and State and Federal government agencies.• Develop and implement environment strategies to manage risk, tender scopes and procedures to manage regulatory requirements.• HSQE management of subcontractors.• Community consultation and stakeholder engagement. • Providing specialist advice to internal stakeholders on project environmental risks/approvals and compliance.• Management of EPBC and State project offsets.• Project management: o Manage EES program against overall project timelines. o Manage monthly financial reporting and budget (>$3M) o Development of tender scopes, procurement. o Engagement and management of consultants and contractors.• Manage field programs and investigations to inform and support EES, which include. o Surface water o Greenhouse and Climate change o Ground water o Social & Community engagement o Contaminated land o Safety o Biodiversity o Noise and Vibration o Cultural heritage o Air quality

Networks undertake works associated with the delivery of fixed and mobile telecommunication infrastructure services. Our programs of works deliver $1 billion and focuses on construction and maintenance of infrastructure nationally. My roles is to lead a team to manage our business risk, approvals, training programs, audit and environmental compliance, which includes:• Lead a national team to drive and support the business on environment and audit matters while maintaining high levels of engagement, collaboration and performance. • Strategy: o Deliver against environment strategy;o Develop key performance plans for the business to track progress against strategy. • Governance: o Establish and manage audit and assurance program to support compliance (ISO9001 & ISO14001). o Report on progress against strategy and continuous improvement activities, audit outcomes and regulatory reporting.o Incident management & regulator engagement.o Regulatory engagement and reporting. o Provide advice and monthly reporting to senior management/directors on environmental matters and legislative compliance.• Systems: o Manage ISO 14001:2015 certification and EMS framework and systems. o Implementation of EMS and procedures through collaboration and partnership with business.o Develop and manage rollout of environment induction and training and awareness programs.o Work with other internal project delivery teams and senior management on reporting/communicating risks/opportunities and compliance.• Project Management:o Provide commercial and contractual support on environmental issues during all phases of projects.o Deliver programs to meet key timeframes, agreed budgets and regulatory requirements.• Regulator and Stakeholder Liaison:o Develop strong relationships and influence internal-external stakeholders, regulatory authorities, government agencies (EPA and DELWP).

Barwon Water Alliance is a program spanning six years and comprised of over 140 projects which ranged in value from $100K - >$25 million. To achieve the overall program goals, experience in the delivery of large complex programs of works to drive outcomes was essential. Responsibilities:• Manage projects during approvals, planning, design and construction phases.• Deliver against project requirements: develop project scopes, programs, contracts, procurement, budget, variations and resources. • Prepare monthly financial reports and forecasts. • Lead and manage onsite contractors to deliver on projects.• Manage and develop SQE documentation on projects (safe-work method statements, inspection and test plans, commissioning plans, SQE plans). • Take accountability and leadership to drive a “zero harm” HSE focus and culture.• Incident management. • Coordinate and participate in SQE inspections, audits and outcomes.• Manage and drive KRA’s and KPI for the program of works.• Stakeholder engagement.

Worked on the Barwon Water Alliance.The program spanned six years and comprised of over 140 projects which ranged in value from $100K - >$25 million. Key program objectives included:• Delivery of projects nominated in the 2008 Water Plan in the required timeframes.• Grow value through efficiency gains, innovation and new technology.• Deliver integrated and sustainable water solution assets that meet Barwon Water’s operational expectations.Responsibilities: • Lead a team of environment and planning specialists.• Drive and deliver planning and environmental approvals for program of works.• Tenders: cost estimates associated with project environment risks/controls/opportunities.• Support the wider project delivery team: working with design and construction teams on risk, compliance and opportunities on projects. • Develop and drive environment and sustainability KPIs. • Develop and maintain productive stakeholder relationships that add value to delivery of projects (e.g. internal and external parties).• Development of ISO14001 environment systems and processes to support program. • Compliance monitoring and implementation of audits/inspection programs. • Incident investigations and management of outcomes.• Strengthen and build partnerships between Barwon Water and local government. • Develop and rollout environment-training programs.• Monthly and annual reporting: environmental performance, compliance and NGER’s.

Sugarloaf Pipeline Alliance, $750 million Project.The planning, design and construction of the Sugarloaf Pipeline was undertaken by an alliance between John Holland, SKM, GHD and Melbourne Water. As part of the Alliance I was responsible for environmental management, community and landowner consultation, project management, archaeological investigation and regional benefits offsets.Responsibilities:• Provide support to delivery team on regulatory requirements and environmental management to achieve compliance.• Develop key relationships with both internal stakeholders and external approval agencies• Environment & safety risk management.• Lead a team to manage our project risk, approvals, induction programs, and environmental compliance.• Direct coordination onsite of external consultants.• Develop, implement and monitor environmental controls for programs developed :o Stormwater Management and Waterways, o Water Quality Management,o Groundwater,o Contaminated land, o Native Flora & Fauna, & Vegetation Offsets,o Weeds & Biosecurity, o Aboriginal & European Heritage. • Development of environmental management plans• Reporting – performance, compliance & NGERS.

Undertook works on Melbourne Water Projects (Panel and Major Projects), which included the following achievements: • Eastern Treatment Plant ($20mil)– Upgrade of (5) aeration tanks and inlet from primary sewerage channel• Bridges in Melbourne Water Catchments (4).• Drainage Pump station and associated pipelines (gravity and pressure).• Yarra Glen Channel and grate(s) upgrade works.Responsibilities: • Project management (financial performance, scheduling of works and tracking against deliverables). • Construction and subcontractor management.• Contract management (Scopes, Budgets, Variations)• Develop and manage SQE risk and all documentation to achieve project delivery and handover (SWMS, ITP’s, EHS Plans and Commissioning Plans).• Develop procurement schedules and management.• Client and stakeholder management.

Undertook works on various civil and environmental focused projects. Responsibilities: • Delivery of civil infrastructure builds such as stormwater, water, sewer, river rehabilitation and water quality programs. • Manage design and project management of various projects for clients such as Melbourne Water, Port of Melb Authority, Regional Water Authorities, developers.• Tender development.• Development of proposals, programs and budgets (design & construction phases).• Water sensitive urban design and integrated urban water management.• Management and co-ordination of staff on to achieve project deliverables and timelines.• Development of SQE risk assessments and management strategies for public assets and natural assets• Client and stakeholder management.• Contract management (design and construction) • Development of water and energy saving programs for businesses. • Sustainability assurance reporting.
