As a Project Manager & Communications Specialist, I have the strategic and operational responsibility to lead, execute and evaluate internal communication projects. I work as a communications advisor working with central functions, leaders, and regional and local communications teams on topics such as change or crisis. Providing leaders with updated and relevant information about changes and/or crises and giving them the best prerequisites to communicate effectively with their team. Production of various communication materials is also part of my role (communications plan, presentations, guidelines, films, messages, etc.)

I led a team of 4 project managers and communications specialists to plan, execute and follow up proactive and reactive projects with an omni-channel approach. Created, maintained, and developed the internal communication channels for the function. Responsible to set and execute the communication strategy, while continuously improving the communication to be modern and relevant.

As a group manager, I was responsible for the window and in-store material production strategy for 4000+ stores. To define, develop, and implement new ways of working to optimise the production process in collaboration with external suppliers and production offices in Asia and Europe. I led an in-house design team of 15 people in roles such as buyers, order responsibles, and product developers with all aspects of production within the defined methodology - from design, development, production, and delivery to stores in 70+ markets. Stakeholder management and communication across various organisations to support the successful execution of projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.

I led a team of 5 project managers in delivering various types of projects such as marketing campaigns, flagship store projects, in-store, and window visual campaigns. Supported in setting the vision and strategy for the future organisation and creating and executing the department's change management and communication strategy. Collaboration with internal stakeholders such as business units, marketing, and communication to secure the commercial planning process and implementation.

As a project manager, I had the strategic and operational responsibility to plan, execute, and follow up on campaign projects according to deadlines and within budget. Set the holistic framework, processes, and way of working for the project manager role. Cross-functional collaborations with other departments to deliver a strong red thread and full 360 campaign. Production of various communication assets such as campaign guidelines, training, and event material for stores.

Together with the area team, we led the expansion strategy for H&M Ireland during an extensive growth phase. Resulting in the growth of the function I was responsible for, from 12 visual merchandisers in 3 stores to 64 visual merchandisers in 20 stores within 4 years. I drove the internal recruitment rate through events, coaching, and training programs – thus reducing external recruitment agency costs. Supported, coached, and developed the visual team across Ireland to enhance the customer shopping experience through the implementation of the brand identity and improving the visual presentation in-store. Supported the area team in change management and communication with all colleagues in the area.

My focus in the role was to set the framework and strategic vision for the function, establishing processes, ways of working and future proofing the direction of the function. I led a team of 8 visual merchandisers in planning and securing the implementation of the global visual guidelines in order to drive sales and profit. I supported the area team with store openings, recruiting, training and development, store refits and campaign planning. Recruitment, training and development, and internal recruitment planning was also part of my role.
