    Founded under TPCC DMIG, we aim to empower the younger generation with the IT skills required in this digital age, as well as expose them to similar activities. Within the team, I took on the role of Chairman and worked on developing course material, organizing logistics, delivering lessons, and graphic design.Monthly micro:bit lessons: As part of the training schedule for The Green Micro:bit Challenge, I conducted monthly courses at Tanjong Pagar Community Club for residents in order to equip them with the foundational coding knowledge they will require for the hackathon. Each resident was sponsored a Micro:bit set such as to promote inclusivity.The Green Micro:bit Challenge: Following the monthly Micro:bit lessons, we organized a hackathon for local Primary and Secondary school students. The hackathon required them to develop a solution to alleviate one of the 4 chosen United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG) using their Micro:bits. The top 3 finalists in each category were then invited to present their projects at Magic@Pagar, an annual community event held at Tanjong Pagar Community Club, where Guest of Honour Ms Indranee Rajah conducted the prize giving ceremony. The hackathon was conducted in 2022 and 2023.

    Established in 2017, Operation Einstein is an ongoing CE01 group aiming to bring enriching, out-of-classroom experiences to the heartlands in order to help students discover the joy of learning and spark their passion for science. Our CDAC OT focuses on our partnership with the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC). Within the team, I worked on developing course material, organizing logistics, and delivering lessons.CDAC 30th Anniversary Open House: In order to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of CDAC, Operation Einstein was invited to man a booth at the event where we set up four simple science experiments for participants to try out and learn about the science concepts behind them.December Holiday camp: Over the course of two days, along with members of the Operation Einstein Northlight OT, we conducted science workshops for Primary school students at CDAC@Tanjong Katong.March Holiday camp: Over the course of three days, we conducted science workshops featuring hands on experimentation in fields of Microscopy, Astronomy, Dynamics and more for Primary school students at CDAC@Punggol.Weekly Lessons at CDAC: Once a week on Saturday afternoons from February to April, our team went down to CDAC to conduct simple lessons and experimental demonstrations for Primary school students. The courses also taught them how to apply these concepts in the real world, such as how an airplane flies with forces.
