• Participates and/or directs the implementation, work flow analysis, design, build, test and maintenance of systems to support clinical and/or financial processes based on end-user needs.• Provides first level end user issue resolution for Cerner Radiology applications and escalates complex issues to Palmetto Health Information Technology or Cerner for final resolution.• Through data collection and report writing using Cerner and other desktop applications, this position creates and delivers reports to leaders and providers throughout Palmetto Health providing documentation and tracking for throughput analysis.• Provides administrative decision making support through reports and process analysis to interdisciplinary clinical care teams for process improvement implementation.• Using direct and indirect observation methods, assesses, analyzes, develops and implements training for end users, including clinical professionals and technical staff. Measures effectiveness of training and implements process improvements into training to achieve expected process outcomes with improved efficiency.• Occasionally performs root cause analysis on Cerner Radiology application system process issues, develops and implements the appropriate response.• Takes responsibility for self-development and stays current on external events and trends affecting Cerner RadNet and associated applications through reading, webinars, on-line education and other means.

* Performs administrative secretarial responsibilities required to maintain effective function of the department.* Advanced ability in the use of computer software, correspondence skills, report writing and telecommunications.* Responsible for department specific projects as assigned. (i.e. special events, mass mailings, policy manual update, training, etc.)* Coordinates department schedule and/or calendar as needed.* Performs other assignments as directed by supervisor.
