I found my dream career as a Certified Project Manager, PMP and currently have a little over 20 years of project management experience in the telecommunications and post secondary education industries. I have a proven track record in environments that require dynamic team interaction. My background includes project management of large construction projects in a growing post secondary educational institution and marketing initiatives for wireless, wireline businesses and Shared Services sales distribution channels for a major telecommunications corporation. I love what I do and hope to continue to gain more exciting and diversified project experience at Durham College Recent project experience at Durham College includes construction of a 35,000 sq ft 2 storey Student Services Building at Oshawa campus in 2010 The building was designed and constructed to provide a new service delivery model and was an exciting combination of process design and construction project methodologies. Another memorable project is the Centre for Food at Whitby Campus which was delivered on time and budget in 2013. Please come to Bistro '67 to enjoy a gourmet meal prepared by Durham College's Culinary School students and while you are enjoying your meal you will be looking over fields planted and maintained by our students. The most recent construction project is the Centre for Collaborative Education. This 75,000 sq ft multi level building will be constructed at the Oshawa campus in 2018 and will introduce leading edge collaborative teaching methods developed with Community partners for specific programs. It is always exciting. There is always a lot to do.
