I specialise in English for specific purposes in-company helping my clients find their own words to express their ideas and approach. I operate more like a coach and have the honour of mostly teaching on a 1 to 1 basis with a few small groups of 2-4 students. I love teaching 1:1s.It is very exciting and rewarding for me to see my clients turn into confident and competent speakers of English. Their newly found skills are inspiring and can be life-changing. I feel honoured to be a part of that. I listen to my client’s needs very carefully as they are my most useful resource. I also research my client’s industry and together we work on the material and tasks that need to be accomplished. I help a vast range of people at different levels from CEOs, lawyers, psychologists, assistants, technical and operational workers, producers and artists. Amongst my clients are renowned companies like Generali, Axa in insurance, RTL and itv Studios in television, Bayer, Lyondell-Basell and INEOS in the chemical industry as well as legal firms and litigation funding. I studied business and have gained work and teaching experience in different industries such as publishing, marketing, market research and generic training. I complemented my studies with a diploma and Masters degree in Teaching English in International Business and later qualified as a sworn translator of German and English. The combination of my work experience, studies and acquired skills enables me to draw on a wealth of knowledge and experience to support my students. In my role as a consultant I also advise on language training programmes which involves conducting assessments and interviews and devising a concept for the company.
