Enabling Manager for the Welsh Water Capital Delivery Alliance Integrated Solutions Team.

I provide expert advice and support to the client function of the business to support the delivery of sustainable drainage schemes and to ensure that we meet our Measure of Success in relation to climate change.A key part of my role is also to work with stakeholders to encourage a wider take up of sustainable drainage techniques and ensure that others are working to minimise the amount of surface water entering the combined sewer network, using natural processes wherever possible.I specialise in environmental policy and legislation, particularly in relation to drainage and flood risk. Another area of expertise is partnership working and I have a large amount of experience in positive relationship building and partnership delivery.In addition I am also responsible for ensuring that we comply with our duties as a risk management authority, and work closely with the 27 lead local flood authorities in our area.

I provided guidance and governance on Government Business for the Homes and Places Division in the Department for Housing and Regeneration. This included checking briefings, correspondence and speeches, allocating tasks to the correct team and monitoring compliance with deadlines. I also acted as a central point to manage external communications for the division, including the update of webpages and liaison with the central communications team.I also provided drafting support to teams within the division where needed.

Development of project management and governance processes for the Water Strategy for Wales.I was brought in to push the piece of work forward and provide a shape and structure for the project. My time in post included managing and facilitating 5 stakeholder workshops related to policy development.

Policy manager for water resources, sewerage, drinking water and resilience.Responsible for policy development and implementation, including legislation.Stakeholder engagement and communication of changes to policy.

Providing support to the policy lead for water resources and sewerage. Developing communication activities for the private sewer transfer in 2011. Stakeholder liaison.Part of the team short listed for three Welsh Government awards in 2012 for the private sewer transfer.

I worked as a museum assistant at St Fagans National History Museum. My duties included providing information and help to visitors and ensuring the security of buildings and collections. I also volunteered with the Historic Interiors Conservation Team on my days off for around a year working on the spring cleans of buildings and displayed objects and supporting film crews across the National Museum Wales estate.

Costumed interpretation at Llancaiach Fawr Manor for school groups and guided tours. Historic craft sessions with school groups and ghost tours were among the additional services provided.Role was undertaken in 17th century costume, in character as a 17th century housemaid.
