The development of the museum of poverty, a uk wide exhibition giving examples of artifacts that would be displayed in museum in the uk when poverty was eradicated, items included pre-payment gas meters, inadequate/overpriced childcare etc. The exhibition was launched in the Scottish parliament.Lead a range of initiatives to actively engage children and young people in national policy change, including the young ambassador programme. The programme started off with a week long training and team building residential. The training elements included policy change, how to campaign, marketing and media workshops. Supported young people to take part in an international youth exchange to engage and learn about different cultures and community activism in czech republic, young people attended from Portugal, Scotland, Poland. Lead the development of 'Wee Shots' a series of short films made by children and young people from Glasgow, Oldham, Bradford and London. The young people talk about the impact of growing up in poverty in the UK and what can be done to tackle it. The film is used to strengthen support for the end child poverty campaign.
