As a member of the Building Leadership Team, English teacher, and Teacher Academy Instructor at West Clermont Local School District, with over 20 years of experience, I have dedicated myself to designing and delivering engaging and effective lessons, while also prioritizing the support and mentorship of new and aspiring teachers. In addition to my role in the Teacher Academy, I have acted as a mentor to new teachers, further enhancing their professional growth and development. Creating a positive and trustful environment where students and team members thrive and grow as learners has always been central to my approach.With a Master of Education (M.Ed) in Secondary Education and Bachelor's degrees in Education (B.S.) and English Literature (B.A) from the University of Cincinnati, I bring a comprehensive understanding of pedagogy and curriculum development to my roles, emphasizing student-centered learning. Passionate about providing hands-on and career-based learning opportunities, I strive to prepare students for their future goals and challenges.In the West Clermont Teacher Academy, I coordinate and supervise internships for senior students interested in education or related fields, collaborating closely with experienced educators throughout the district. My commitment extends beyond the classroom, nurturing both the social-emotional and academic growth of my students.
