I have worked in the field of Social Security Disability advocacy for sixteen years. In addition to working closely with clients and the Social Security Administration, I also worked closely with LTD insurers. Over sixteen years I performed many roles and had responsibilites at each point during the life of a Social Security Disability claim. I was passionate about helping clients to obtain much needed benefits, and assisting LTD insurers on the other end, assisting them to achieve their goals, and acting as a resource for their questions on Social Security regulations and benefits, and how their clients' (potential) benefits would be affected. While working directly with clients, I also managed multiple accounts, as well as a small team of client service representatives. I have excellent verbal and written communication skills and am able to create strong, positive relationships with clients.Although I have spent sixteen years in one industry, I have a strong set of transferrable skills that would be appropriate in numerous other industries.
