MIchelle Egan is a Professor and Jean Monnet Chair Ad personam in the School of International Service, American University. Her latest award winning book is Single Markets: Economic Integration in Europe and the United States with Oxford University Press http://ukcatalogue.oup.com/product/9780199280506.doShe works on comparative political economy with a specific focus on Europe and US. She writes on trade issues, single market, EU, Brexit, TBT, standards, regulation, transatlantic relations, Digital single market, EU law and related issues. She is a regular commentator on various news outlets including CNN, NPR Marketplace, NPR the World, BBC International, Canadian Public Radio, as well as print media. She is currently working on several projects a) FDI investment screening, b) federalism and markets c) Post Brexit and UK politics generally d) the single market and trade issues/FTAs/geo-economics e) subnational trade diplomacy. Michelle Egan is also a Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center and has worked on projects with a number of think-tanks. Michelle Egan is on the executive board of TradeExperettes which is a global organization aimed at fostering knowledge about trade issues, working with around 400 women from the public, private, non-profit and academic community on trade. She is the recipient of multiple fellowships to support her work including a CFR (IAF Fellowship), Jean Monnet (EUI), Woodrow Wilson, German Marshall Fund, European Commission, among others.
