The Human Capital Lab measures the impact of learning on productivity in the workplace. Our mission is to develop innovative and valuable approaches to unlocking the long-term potential of human capital investments. The Human Capital Lab partners with Learning & Development leaders to do just that by creating strategic educational opportunities to meet learner and workforce learning outcomes. In 2019, I developed an assessment tool to assist our partners with measuring soft skill (we call them PowerSkills) gaps in their workforce. I served as a Board member from 2017-2019. Rejoined as President in 2020 and am serving a 3-year term.

The Governance Board of Athena comprises various external experts in higher education, legal affairs and various industries. I was appointed in December of 2020 to share my expertise in adult learning, workforce development, and human capital management measurement.

In my second term (6-year terms) in my last year, I served on the Executive Committee in the role of Secretary from June 2019 through June 2020. I am honored to do all I can to contribute to this amazing organization.I am so pleased Bellevue University will be able to continue the CanDo Jr award which provides a scholarship to one Kids Can Community Center student leader. This scholarship helps "plant the seed" that attending college is a viable option to anyone willing to work hard to pursue it.

As part of Bellevue University & Guangdong Innovative Technical College's (GITC) cooperative relationship, I trained TESOL faculty in American teaching techniques; advised potential students regarding BU programs; established a network of GITC faculty to expand our joint offerings and curriculum understanding; and taught numerous English as a Second Language courses for IELTS test preparation and culture courses the month of September 2014.
