Office Manager
Current• Managing and maintaining the physical office space, including coordinating repairs and maintenance, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment.• Procuring and managing office supplies, breakroom inventory, furniture, and equipment, ensuring that they are well-maintained and available for staff use.• Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and service providers, such as food/delivery service, cleaning services, and maintenance contractors.• Optimizing office space utilization, coordinating office reconfigurations, and ensuring that workspaces are allocated effectively.• Manage all aspects of the process and compliance including initiation, candidate follow-up, and tracking. Maintain all confidential information for candidates, including I-9 documentation.• Process timesheet which includes reporting, contacting candidates, and notifying recruiters.• Supervising and leading a team member, providing guidance, on-the-job training, and support as needed.• Communicating change of process and policy updates, as well as facilitating new initiatives driven by corporate departments, such as Marketing, Learning & Development, Finance, HR, Executive Assistants, Facilities, etc.• Working closely with different departments and teams within the organization to understand their event and meeting needs and objectives. This includes coordinating with Executives/Executive Assistants, Marketing, and other relevant departments to align event planning with organizational goals.• Coordinating and managing various types of events such as workshops, team building activities, and company-wide celebrations. Responsibilities may include catering, managing logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring a smooth execution of the event.• Being present during events to oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown phases. This includes managing event staff, troubleshooting any issues that may arise, and ensuring a positive experience for attendees.
