I assisted teaching beginner through championship level dancers both for performances and competitions. I attended competitions to support and encourage the students that I taught. I learned how to use an appropriate balance of fun and hard work in classes to assist dancers in reaching their goals. I encouraged the spread of Irish culture through activities in classes, and community outreach which included visiting local schools during the month of March where we would explain the history of dance as well as perform.

I shadowed multiple healthcare professionals in various specialties throughout the Champlain valley Physicians Hospital. Some of these specialties include physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, orthopedics, family medicine, skilled nursing, emergency medicine, and the operating room. I have shadowed for 125+ hours, expanding my knowledge and understanding of different specializations as well as helping me gain perspectives on what it is like to work in each. I found this extremely beneficial in deciding which career I would like to pursue.
