About Michelle Givan

My mission is to come alongside parents of children with special needs to help them become resourceful advocates for their child's education, while maintaining positive working relationships with educators. In addition to holding a Masters degree in Special Educational Studies, I have personal experience as a parent of a person with autism spectrum disorder, and I am the former owner of a learning center where I used brain training exercises to improve memory, attention, and reading skills. I specialize in IEP review and development, collaborating with schools to create and implement S.M.A.R.T. IEPs, taking recommendations from experts and turning them into meaningful experiences for learners, and participating in IEP meetings with parents. I have served many families over the past 15 years, and I look forward to serving you.
