Executive role, reporting to the CEO. Leading team of 7, comprising strategists, commercial analysts, project managers and partnership specialists.

- Leading and developing the adjacencies strategy to identify relevant new products, services or business opportunities that were aligned to the Motoring strategy and growth objectives.- Undertaking analysis of the business environment, competitors, markets, product, channel and other relevant areas to build a pipeline of Motoring product and services opportunities and targets.- Balance the product and market trends with member requirements to identify suitable opportunities.- Completing business design to determine the optimal business model for the opportunity. Develop business case for launching a new opportunity – (financial analysis, resourcing, funding approvals,) and then sponsoring implementation, ensuring successful delivery against the metrics of quality, budget and time.- Application of a standard business development and value assessment framework, assessing opportunities, evaluating and determining whether to proceed or close out.

-Leading and directing the strategy and operations of RAC Batteries and associated business units, to ensure continued growth and sustainability of the business.- Leading and directing the strategy and operations of the RAC Tyres business to embed and grow the start-up business.- Re-mediating, establishing and managing effective relationships within the distribution network, internally and externally to the RAC for RAC Tyres and RAC Batteries.

-Development of the service delivery contracting strategy, new contractor business model and business case. Strategy development included options analysis, scenario planning, risk and compliance assessments and financial modelling.-Executive sponsorship of the project responsible for the termination of existing contractors and implementation of new model. Core team comprised of 15 people; broader team comprised 60.-Facilitating the tender process to identify and appoint new contracting partners. Negotiation and development of multimillion-dollar contracts for new partners.-Developing and implementing termination plan for outgoing contractors, including managing service disruption risk.-Manage significant brand, contract and people risks relating to the change, including employee and Fair Work related risks.

-Leading and directing the strategy and operations of the RAC batteries business and associated business units, to ensure growth and sustainability of the batteries business. -Establishing and managing effective relationships within the distribution network, internal and external to the RAC.-Determining the structure, capability requirements and establishing the RAC Batteries team.Identifying and remediating issues preventing the business from achieving targets and growing.

-Development and monitoring of business strategy and plan for Motoring.-Plan and manage delivery of activities and projects on behalf of the business units within Motoring.-Manage relationships with external service providers to meet the needs of Motoring.

-Development of forecasting process and models for improved budgeting and planning.-Development of strategic and business planning processes and creation of the strategy and business plan to support the achievement of Motoring's post GFC targets.-Development and implementation of business performance improvement plan - $2 million savings in year one. Achieved through engaging and focusing senior leadership team on identifying and implementing priority initiatives to close budget overrun – changes to battery business model (outsourced service provision to in-house model), closing under performing business and other cost saving initiatives.-Business review and management of recommendation to close under performing Vehicle Inspection business and introduce service through the car servicing and repair channel.

-Lead vendor selection processes (global search), working with Churchill Consulting on building strategy and business case.-Lead RFP process ($20 million contract)-Contract negotiation, appointing Portrait (UK) technology company.-Lead process, business analysts and change managers to work collaboratively with Portrait team to configure and develop solution. Solution did not progress to full roll out due to change in strategic priorities for RAC.

-Project managed the shutdown of facilities and relocated operations personnel (including multiple disparate businesses into one co-shared location). -Project managed the development and introduction of a new membership class and conversion of 500,000 insurance customers to members, bringing the data in-house.-Business Analysis function for RAC Security, resulting in stabilising and growth of business.
