As a software test automation engineer at SPD Swiss Precision Diagnostics, I apply my full-stack development skills and test automation expertise to ensure the quality and functionality of our Android and IOS applications for Clearblue, a leading brand in women's health. I have been working at SPD for over 2 years now, and I have gained valuable experience in writing Ruby code, performing regression/confirmation testing, leading formal tests, and producing accurate documentation. I have also gained extensive experience in presentation, communication, and understanding of users needs and business requirements.I have a BSc in Information Technology from The Open University, which I completed in October 2021 with a 2:1 grade. For my dissertation project, I developed an iOS and Android application to help children with type one diabetes manage their condition independently. The application was created using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, and Cordova, and involved both front-end and back-end development. The project was successful and I am continuing to expand the database of foods on MongoDB, with the aim of releasing the application. I am passionate about using technology to create solutions that improve people's lives and health outcomes. I am also committed to lifelong learning and regularly participate in online programs and training to enhance my skills and knowledge.
