Initially as a ward manager of a busy inpatient organic assessment unit, then was promoted to a modern matron/service managers post covering Mental Health Services for Older People within Nottinghamshire. I then became an inpatient service manager covering the Nottingham City area. I then worked briefly in Adult Mental Health Services Nottingham City managing perinatal psychiatry a countywide service with a tier 4 facility based at Queens Medical Centre and ECT services. I was then successful in obtaining an integrated service managers post within Learning Disabilities Services. Half of my time was employed with Nottinghamshire County Council as a commissioning manager approving packages of care for adults with a learning disabilty and manging two very busy community learning disability teams and half was managing health services such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, health short breaks, primary care liaison, acute care liaison, dietetics and epilepsy within Nottinghamshire Health Care Trust. In 2013 the integrated arrangements ceased and I returned full time to Notts Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a service manager within the Specilaist Services Directorate. My current portfolio includes all of the previously mentioned LD health services and also perinatal psychiatry a county wide community and inpatient service and tier 4 CAMHS, a 13 bedded unit for 12-18 year olds. Ten team leaders report directly to me. Show less
