I have the responsibility for supporting the day-to-day client contact and management of projects consisting of digital printing, finishing, packing and installation for multiple clients. From project initiation through completion, I am responsible for all aspects of the project including, but not limited to, the comprehension of project scope, estimate building, creation and maintenance of project schedules, merchandise management, outsource purchasing and ensuring resources are allocated appropriately within the project scope throughout the life of the project. In addition, I build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

Appointed as Assistant Manager with oversight of digital printing and binding operations with 30+ employees. Maintain high productivity and quality levels of all staff members through effectively managing schedules, work assignments, downtime and contingency planning, performance evaluations, and training and development. Manage vendors, including Xerox, Oce, and Graphco, to ensure strategic sourcing, pricing, and material procurement. Promote an environment focused on quality by implementing corrective and preventative actions to resolve major and minor non-conformances, developing performance expectations for Color and B/W Operators and Digital Print and Bindery Leads, and overseeing QA of documents and procedures to ensure ISO compliance

Controlled project aesthetics for variety of client marketing and communications materials through delivering first-rate graphic design and layout and overseeing up to three staff members in the lifecycle of print production. Generated sales through building relationships with customers via phone and in-store, quickly determining their needs and audience, and offering optimal printing solutions. Responsible for preparing customer files for digital and press output, opening and closing store, balancing register, and collating, binding, and finishing projects. Partnered with third-party companies to complete out-of-house jobs.

Arranged type and visual elements along with specifications for paper, ink color, and printing process to convey clients’ visual message. Provided the full range of finishing options including folding, collating, stapling, and binding. Performed day-to-day support duties including answering phones, processing orders, pick-ups, and deliveries.
