I completed 600 hours over the Fall 2015 semester at Lake Brantley High School within the School Counseling Department. Activities included, but were not limited to: -Advising students regarding graduation requirements and course selections-Providing information for higher education and financial aid opportunities-Counseling students with concerns and facilitating classroom guidance lessons

During my graduate program, I was afforded the opportunity to work as a Graduate Assistant Advisor with the Office of Pre-Health and Pre-Law Advising. My job duties included, but were not limited to:-Advised students interested in pursuing careers in the health and legal professions-Conducted mock interviews and provided feedback regarding student performance-Created and updated informational handouts for students

With this non-profit, I was able to enroll prospective volunteers and families, "match" volunteers and children, and support these matches through monthly phone calls. My final role with Big Brothers Big Sisters included the following responsibilities: -Ensured quality, efficient processing of volunteer and child applications according to agency policies and procedures-Provided assistance to program team by scheduling appointments and updating forms and reports-Conducted all orientations and training sessions for constituents
