Laboratoires Lyocentre is a medium sized pharmaceutical company based in Aurillac, France with a commercial office in Clermont-Ferrand, France. The company specializes in the creation and production of probiotics, and currently has a 60% turnover in export business. My project was to develop a strategy to enter the U.S. market with their products, including understanding the FDA regulatory framework necessary, market characteristics, distribution network, and different positioning options.Also, as a part of expanding Lyocentre's international presence, I sought distribution partnerships in Greece, Cyrpus, the Czech Republic, Belgium, and Israel.
