I successfully implemented email marketing / communications campaigns and custom owner journeys, renovated and managing editor for two newsletters / digital magazines, implementation of paid social campaigns, development and oversight of all customer education and serve as part of the crisis communications team. As the Assistant Superintendent of Government & Community Relations for Brevard Public Schools (46th largest district nationally), I successfully led the communications efforts that resulted in the district's historic passage of a half-penny sales tax increase, managed numerous media incidents, developed an advertising program that generated 150% more than targeted goal, implemented a branded district web presence for 84 sites, re-organized the department to increase efficient practices, improved community relations initiatives through new advisory councils, developed new communications tools, and renovated the enrollment process for over 25,000 volunteers. Due to these successes, we expanded to include a printing services, all digital media, events, business partner program and community outreach. Building upon these successes, new responsibilities were added including local and state government affairs and centralized concern resolution. I served L’Anse Creuse Public Schools as the Senior Director of Community Relations & Programs. Led communications and educational and training programs at five locations, and staff of 80.
