I graduated from UBC Okanagan after successful completion of my BA with a psychology major and anthropology minor. I am currently employed by the ministry of labour - employment standards branch as a field office clerk. I spend the majority of my free time training martial arts and dancing. I am an active competitor, para-pan-american champion and 2022 national ne-waza champion. I began training Muay Thai Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in April 2017, Judo in September 2018, and aerial fitness (pole, silks and hoop) in July 2020.

I had done smaller fundraisers prior to that for my local grappling competitions but since then I have solidified the cause.
