In our busy, get work done world, we've forgotten how to eat well, move well, communicate well, work the land well.. simply live well. As a doctor, I see the first hand effects of health gone wrong. You see, I love dentistry and helping people get healthy, but dentistry led to me getting sick. I got mercury poisoning from drilling out "silver" fillings and nearly had to give up dentistry entirely. I had to learn what was healthy and safe in dentistry for me and my patients, and I don't want you to go down the same path of sickness and struggle I experienced. Saving your health may be removing your mercury fillings, gum infection or infected root canal teeth. Your dental work may be a big of part of what is making you sick. My health issues led me to provide an entirely new kind of dentistry. Health-based, whole body wellness is a focus of all we provide at Total Care Dental.Along my personal health journey, I've also learned alot about healthy living and ways to LIVE WELL. I now teach people around the globe a combination of science and the latest in health with the knowledge of ages past. A healthy loaf of bread, proper instruction on nutrition or a reason to get off the couch may be how your health is saved.Unfortunately, this information isn't well known in dentistry, so I started Total Care Academy to teach other dentists and their teams the WHY and the HOW behind providing health based dental care.
