Founded boutique Bay Area-based digital media production company with two main functions:1. Freelance services: Video production,newsletter creation, web development, email marketing, graphic design and social media strategy. Served clients of all sizes, including Stanford University.2. Products: Created a line of best-selling fitness videos under the brand name Cheeky Girls Productions. Developed a loyal fan base and a viral presence through unique marketing campaigns and community engagement strategies. Hosted large events and dance competitions to further brand awareness - ie: Project Belly Dance is a web based "reality show" where the winning contestant gets a starring role in an upcoming Cheeky Girls Productions video. Community Engagement: Created a robust community outreach program to promote hotline services and to recruit volunteers. Hosted community events designed to raise awareness and engage external stakeholders. Liaison for corporate social responsibility contacts, worked with corporate partners to encourage volunteerism.Management: Oversaw all aspects of a 24-hour, emergency hotline. Supervised more than 200 volunteers and employees. Manage the delivery of community programs, events, and initiatives. Created measurable outcomes, oversaw a budget of $250,000.

Responsible for outreach and community education around domestic violence issues. Recruited and trained volunteers, led support groups and helped lobby local government for the expansion of shelter locations.

Met with at-risk youth and their families to assess needs and create mentorship opportunities. Partnered with social responsibility divisions within Silicon Valley corporations to recruit volunteers as mentors. Provided vision for a community campaign about the benefits of volunteer work, created volunteer appreciation events and maintained close relationships with volunteers and families to assess the effectiveness of the program.
