I was appointed Learning Leader in 2017 with a focus on developing the Service Learning program in our Junior School. My approach is to promote ethical awareness and enterprise skills through ongoing and authentic experiences and investigations in order to cultivate compassionate, innovative and community-minded citizens.

I have worked as a class teacher in Year 1, 4 and 5. Attending to the emotional, social and physical wellbeing of my students underpins my practice. I am a clinical practitioner who uses ongoing, evidence-based assessment as a means to effectively respond to the diverse learning needs of students, making it possible for all students to learn.

As a university student, I was fortunate to secure employment with Camp Australia as an assistant coordinator of the after school programs, initially at Camberwell South Primary and subsequently at Scotch College, looking after students from Prep to Grade 6.Responsibilities:- Developing and supervising outdoor / gym games and 'arts and craft' activities- First aid- Food preparation and handling

I was employed on a part time basis from July 2008 until April 2010 when the business closed due to the retirement of the owners. Responsibilities:- Opening and closing the store- Sales / customer consulting - Credit and cash payments- Banking- Stock management
