The National Lead, Enterprise Education role facilitates collaboration across our Enterprise division to ensure that we are bringing the best of KPMG's sector and functional expertise to mid-market clients in Higher Education, Vocational Education and Training and Schools.

Enterprise Advisory is a specialist mid-market management consulting practice that is geared towards the particular opportunities and challenges experienced by organisations in the largest segment of the Australian economy.

As Senior Director of Alumni and External Engagement, I led the design and implementation of Monash's alumni and external engagement strategy in order to provide a premier experience to our stakeholders and to support the University's education and research mission. The role was located in the External Relations, Development and Alumni (ERDA) function in the Office of President and Vice-Chancellor, has responsibility for growing the advocacy, philanthropic and alumni engagement with Monash.

As Director, Special Projects, I facilitated change across ERDA towards achieving significant stretch targets.

The Program Director, Student First led Monash University's agenda to transform its approach to student services. The Student First program is constituted my major University-wide technology, cultural and capability uplifts. The Student First Program is modernising our service models using contemporary digital, business process and cultural change tools.

The CEO had strategic, operational, and business oversight of the design and planning phase of the Australian Polytechnic Pty Ltd and the operation of Australian Polytechnic Network. Both of initiatives were unique partnerships between the University of Canberra and a national network of TAFEs. The partnerships were designed to introduce new styles of practical education into the Australian Higher Education landscape.

This role held portfolio responsibility for cultural transformation, organisational reform, workforce development, wellbeing, communications, change management, administration, for the Monash ICT group, eSolutions. The role also had responsibility for the management of change across key transformation programs at Monash and centered on creating the conditions for individual staff and leaders to succeed in realising the organisational vision. A key achievement in this role was the creation of an award winning performance and professional development program named I Contribute.

The Transforming Recruitment at Monash Project delivered significant reform to Monash’s staff recruitment practices. The project included the procurement of an eRecruitment solution, a policy and procedural review, creation of preferred supplier arrangements with recruitment agencies, and enhancements to the candidate, hiring manager and hiring administrator experience.

This role led the analysis phase of a project seeking to improve Honours participation rates at Monash University. The project contributed both to increased rates of Honours participation and greater research skills exposure for students in undergraduate courses at Monash.

This role held the responsibilities of Chief Operating Officer across the portfolio responsibilities held by the Office of Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor, including education, marketing and public affairs, quality, planning, campus management and planning, library, international, academic staffing and enterprise bargaining activities of the University. The role delivered substantial contributions to projects and initiatives across all of these domains.
