Responsibilities: Co-founder of a consulting and education company focused on advising affluent families on intergenerational communication, wealth transfer, and preparing rising generation for leadership roles both within and outside family. I design and launch educational programs that deliver high-impact training and peer support in financial stewardship, family communication, beneficiary education, and governance. During my two years at the World Bank, I represented the U.S. government at the Board of Directors of the World Bank and provided representation and guidance to the Audit Committee. I negotiated and advised World Bank policy related to finance, budget and human resources and conducted due diligence on close to $10 billion in World Bank Group operations in Latin America.

I served the U.S. Department of Treasury in various roles and capacities for a combined five years. During my time as an International Economist, I liaised with government officials, multilateral institutions and the private sector in key West African countries, advancing U.S. government initiatives and developing a financial model to assess debt sustainability.

In Afghanistan, I represented the U.S. Treasury Department in negotiations with key members of the Afghan cabinet. I developed policy on financial sector issues, including leveraging the U.S. private sector for the development of domestic financial markets, the feasibility of mobile money initiatives, banking sector bailouts and stability, and the public financial management framework.

Before returning to the U.S. Department of Treasury, I had a brief stint at Emerging Capital Partners. In my role, I aided in the development a complex financial model outlining rationale for energy sector investment in Cameroon.

During my first of many roles with the U.S. Department of Treasury, I analyzed and provided final critical review of materials prepared for the Secretary and Deputy Secretary, focusing on policy coherence and strategic goals.

During the summer of 2007, I consulted briefly for the United Nations in the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), implementing review and recommended improvements of United Nations coordination. I developed a five-year strategy outlining the role of OCHA-Ethiopia in providing humanitarian assistance.

In the Peace Corps, my focus was on community-based HIV/AIDS prevention in Madagascar. During my time there, I co-wrote and received a $5,000 grant to begin an HIV/AIDS prevention organization, recruiting, training and supervising 20 health workers.
