I'm working in the REMEDIA project, a European Human Exposome research initiative. My role involves harnessing the power of advanced machine-learning techniques to analyze diverse datasets from project cohorts. I'm working on enriching our databases with environmental and contextual data, aligning it with subjects' geocoded residences. Ultimately, we conduct descriptive analyses and employ unsupervised clustering techniques to characterize cystic fibrosis phenotypes.

My goal within the KDOG-COV project is to identify volatile organic compounds (VOCs) related to breast cancer. In order to decipher the chemical signature of breast cancer, 2D gas-chromatography/mass spectrometry data is explored using machine learning. https://kdog.eu/index.php/en/home/

Analysis of RNA-sequencing brain data of Xenopus laevis after chemical exposure.

A research fellow within the EDC-MixRisk project that worked on various topics including endocrinology, endocrine disruption and neuroscience. Primary research work:• Implemented a CRISPR-CAS9 system to develop F0 knockouts to investigate genetic role of individual genes• Examined the impact of environmental endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) on early brain development, both as individual compounds or as a mixture• Investigated EDCs commonly found in human amniotic fluid, including perfluorinated compounds, phthalates and phenolic compoundsScientific communication• Presented orally at various international conferences (Europe and the United States)• Published various manuscripts Leadership experience • Presented lectures for MSc students on topics of endocrinology & neuroscience• Successfully supervised 2 MSc students and 8 BSc students
