I received my MS in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marital and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University in 2014. I spent several years working in community mental health in a variety of settings, including in schools, in homes, with foster youth, and with adults in the CalWorks population. During this time, I was trained and certified in cognitive behavioral therapy.In 2017, I began my work in a group private practice. I worked primarily with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and post-traumatic stress, but also worked with a variety of other presenting issues. In early 2022, I was trained in EMDR and began the process of working towards certification. In June 2022, I opened up my practice, Meadowview Therapy, to focus more on helping women struggling with anxiety, perfectionist tendencies, people-pleasing behaviors, general low self-esteem, and trauma. I typically conceptualize through the AIP model, and use EMDR with most of my clients. I see clients both in-office and over telehealth.
