I was promoted to manage the Accounts department and also provide direct support to the Managing Director in all aspects of company life.I have helped expand the Accounts Department and now managing my own team of five. I am responsible for ensuring the four staff members have effective supervision and support where they are assisted to perform the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Reception, and Administration duties. I also liaise with other areas of the business, where appropriate, and working with sensitive and confidential information across the business.My duties include cash flow management whereby I am in control of the cash outflows to keep Celmec within its account facility limits. I prepare all financial spreadsheets, monthly working capital reports and associated documents for the managing director, CFO and general manager. I have also assisted with the development of the pricing spreadsheets, policy and procedures manuals, instruction booklets to ensure they are accurate and up to date. I have been involved in the implementation and migration of data from QuickBooks to a new Manufacturing ERP system (ECi M1) and working closely with the software consultant to improve the business process efficiency. We create useful financial reports via Crystal Reports and changing the user interface design that is easy to use. Our next step will be to integrate a new label printing software for an easy and cost-effective way to get high quality labels onto the products.

I was reporting to the Accounts Manager and the primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the day to day financial operations of the business together with efficient processing of Sales Orders, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Invoicing and Statement preparation. I was also given the opportunities to utilise my technical knowledge and developed further IT skills by participating in the changeover accounting system to QuickBooks. I worked closely with the IT technician with network monitoring and other maintenance tasks including managing servers, software and equipment in the office. I also provided daily technical support requests from the staffs.

I perform the daily processing of both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Invoices and Adjustments via Xero, reconciliation of Payments, resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to account inquiries.I have also assisted in the changeover to an Inventory system (Unleashed), whereby I have to update the Product Price and Stock Counts, create templates, and linking to Xero(Accounting Software), Onesaas(Integration App), Bigcommerce(Online Store), eWay and Square(Payment Gateway).

A short term project which I have taken to assist a self-employed business to create charts of account, templates, logo, IT equipment, and other structure for the new business. I also processed the Invoices, payments, bank reconciliation, payroll, and company tax to help the business run smoothly.

I was promoted to manage all the 7 branches' invoices and also to work closely with the Managing Director.My tasks involved the stocktaking, updating prices, editing and processing high volume of debtors'(approx. 400 invoices per day) and suppliers' Invoices, and also Cash Sales/Credit notes into a customised Accounting computer system. I had to attend to all the branch managers and customer inquiries, and solving problems regarding their accounts and invoices. I was also providing a high level of support to the Managing Director with booking of sport events and flights, doing research, tending to the needs of guests with gift shopping. I had also assisted with managing his emails and amending confidential documents.

It was a fast paced environment working in Active with a busy team managing the Accounts for seven branches spread across Melbourne and regional Victoria, with each branch carrying extensive stock. I started of as a receptionist, helping with the calls and other clerical duties.I was reporting to the Invoicing Officer and helped with the filing and sorting the Invoices for every Branches. I had to handle the routine correspondence and inquiries from all areas, and also prepared the incoming/outgoing mails for distribution.
