The outpatient clinic was grossly overbooked and required constant reflection on which patients were benefiting from our service and the opportunity cost of keeping patients who were not. • Leadership and supervision was required while managing the hydrotherapy service for outpatients. Working as a weekend and public holiday casual Physiotherapist on the acute wards. This position was sought as I wanted to maintain my skills in this area, whilst working in the community rehabilitation setting. This role provided me experience working with patients day 1-3 post orthopaedic surgery, those post upper abdominal surgery, those with chest infections and acute strokes.
