The AWT Young Professionals Group has been created to establish a dedicated forum for young professionals within the water treatment industry, to provide an opportunity for these individuals to learn, mingle and grow. The AWT Young Professionals Group provides an avenue for participation in the Association among the younger generation of water treatment providers.Using the connections that I have made through my father and on my own in AWT, I have gained support from experienced members of the AWT with regard to mentoring new, young members to the organization. I work with AWT staff members to organize events, webinars, list servs, group pages, and training sessions for the young professionals of the water treatment industry to take advantage of so they are able to expand their knowledge, in turn solidifying the foundation of the future of the AWT.

Along with the entire Membership Committee of AWT, I work with the group to strive to grow the AWT's membership as well as work to provide the best experience possible for current AWT members. Our goal is to let AWT members know that we are interested in what they care about as well as constantly making the AWT organization better as a whole for all involved.

-Develop company website, brochures, catalogs, satisfaction surveys and customer program books to allow for improved consumer/supplier communication;-Create/update product data bulletins;-Develop educational presentations and articles to assist clients in their business relations;- Coordinate corporate events and aid in travel arrangements;-Develop advertisements and postcard mailers to promote company growth;-Develop reports for customers from sample analyses;-Communicate with customers to assist in satisfying their needs;- Manage electronic customer reporting system;- Assist in invoicing and accounts receivable tasks;-Oversee intern hiring process and intern development.-Began as part time office assistant in 2001. Promoted from office assistant to Marketing Director in May 2009.
