As a Juvenile Justice Program Supervisor at Rising Ground, I was a part of the leadership to launch a pioneering 12-bed Non Secure Placement site, overcoming significant challenges to establish and manage a dedicated team of 25 staff members. My leadership played a pivotal role in navigating the complexities of juvenile justice, ensuring the program’s success and its recognition as one of the top juvenile justice initiatives in Brooklyn. This role was not only one of the most demanding of my career but also the most rewarding, as it allowed me to contribute meaningfully to the rehabilitation and support of young individuals in our community.
