• Build business by identifying and selling prospects.
• Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities.
• Identifying product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information 
• Assist in the smooth day-to-day operation of the Events Department 
• Accept and manage incoming sales enquiries including but not limited to raising quotes and developing Event Sheets 
• Conduct site visits / inspections with existing and prospective clients 
• Manage finance elements as they relate to allocated events including raising invoices and debtor follow up

• Assist in the smooth day-to-day operation of the Events Department including varied administration tasks• Accept and manage incoming sales enquiries including but not limited to raising quotes, developing Event Sheets and designing floor plans• Supervise event staff including supporting, training and mentoring staff • Perform Events Team Leader shifts as required• Conduct site visits / inspections with existing and prospective clients• Conduct event planning and de-briefing meetings with clients• Liaise with external providers / suppliers• Manage finance elements as they relate to allocated events including raising invoices and debtor follow up• Design, develop and review training and information manuals for staff and clients• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the event department by providing new ideas and constructive feedback
