Work effectively across organisational boundaries, supporting the delivery of multiple, complex change and service improvement projects. Manage the relationship between individual Trust strategies and the collective objectives of the BCA to secure engagement and commitment to change.

Lead the PMO function in a large Trust with responsibility for the monitoring and assurance reporting of a £36m annual CIP. Reconfiguration of the PMO team and internal systems/ processes to support an improved governance and accountability framework, providing real-time performance reporting of progress, risks and issues. Responsible for securing engagement in the identification and operational implementation of schemes, motivating both corporate functions clinical divisions to consider and embrace potentially radical change.

Having joined MSFT shortly after the publication of the Francis Report, I entered a Trust that faced multiple and significant challenges in respect of clinical and financial sustainability. I lead a small PMO team that supported a single change methodology that was well embedded within the Trust. This gave me experience of delivering change in an organisation under immense external pressure and scrutiny.

Focussed on clinical engagement and patient and stakeholder consultation. Contributed to the strategic development of the emerging organisation, shaping the internal systems and documentation. As a core member of the project team that developed the CCG through to authorisation, taking responsibility for meaningful engagement with patients, carers and their communities. Creation and development of a Patient Board, engaging with multiple third sector stakeholders to shape a successful approach to engaging with hard-to-reach/ seldom heard populations. Some service redesign across primary and acute care pathways.
