Senior Client Manager
CurrentManage a $2.5 million book of business, serving as the first point of contact for clients/policyholders to market new and renewal group employee benefit policies across all industries. Responsible for meeting goals for new business development and account value/retention.* Conduct personal history interviews to produce quotes/proposals and prefill supplemental applications for policies and benefit plans.* Prepare carrier submissions and work with insurance carriers to ensure timely issuance of policies.* Explain coverage terms, benefits, claim processing/resolution procedures, exclusions and policy changes, and provide policy/endorsement recommendations to ensure informed client decisions.* Provide client onboarding, education and support regarding billing, claims, benefits, enrollment/eligibility and compliance; create materials for enrollment and communication.* Coordinate engagement of enrollment firms to assist with education and enrollment support; facilitate carrier representation at open enrollment meetings.* Collaborate with the sales team during prospect meetings, renewal meetings and mid-year/pre-renewal meetings.* Conduct benefit presentations for up to 300 client employees; lead meetings, seminars, webinars, Q&As, etc.* Work closely with carriers to facilitate new business and BOR processing, including all client policy information, paperwork, SBCs, plan summaries and certificate books.* Review orders to bind, update accounts in Epic system and execute change requests to customer records, including terminations/cancellations.* Apply diligent follow-up and personalized service to maximize retention, referrals and penetration.* Leverage extensive insurance knowledge to mentor team members.
