My number one passion in life has always been helping others. For nearly ten years, I worked in the non-profit sector witnessing first hand the short comings of society and I was able to address those issues with programming that directly impacted our most at risk community members. I was luckily enough to transition from the non-profit world to the healthcare industry which has always been a great area of interest. Wound care is a very complex specialty that puts patient care at the center. Witnessing first hand the passion of clinicians treating some of the most vulnerable patients every day has been inspiring. It’s very rewarding to be a part of that process and being able to provide treatment solutions so patients have the most potential to achieve the best outcomes. The work is challenging and healthcare technology is always evolving so I’d love to make connections in the wound care world and collaborate together to provide better patient care and reduce surgical complications.
