One of my first memories from school was my teacher's telling my parent's I was the "mother hen" of the classroom. This quality evolved into a career focused on care and compassion. From an early age I knew my calling was caring for others, little did I know this would land me in the healthcare field. Now, over 10 years of bedside care, I seek more diversity in sharing my compassion for patients. Flexible, quick learner, who adapts easily to new situations and enjoys a challenge. Possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. Follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation and intuition, in order to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Ensures quality of care and open lines of communication between all members of the health-care team. In recent years I have pursued higher education in healthcare management and leadership. I have also reinforced my skills to focus on skill development and education within Trinity Health. My years of bedside care have strengthened my skills in leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and communication. Who I am at my core, is an empathetic, hardworking, dedicated person. I enjoy life's small moments and thrive when I am connected to nature.
