As a dedicated leader in community impact, I drove meaningful change through collaborative partnerships and innovative programming. My work focused on addressing regional needs, enhancing community resilience, and promoting equity.+ Collaborative Partnerships: Cultivated strong relationships with community leaders and nonprofit organizations, creating impactful programs that respond to local challenges. Coordinated a multi-sector network of leaders to bolster local and regional disaster resilience, focusing on marginalized populations, called Ready North. Manage the implementation and evaluation of tobacco control programs as part of the Technical Assistance team providing training and resources for tobacco grantees in Minnesota

• Conducted review of research and worked with institute staff and community partners to develop the concept and write a National Institutes of Health RO3 grant proposal for a needs and assets assessment of mental illness among recently incarcerated minority men in New York City• Supported the implementation and evaluation of the Healthy Vending Machine Initiative, a decision making tool to improve student nutrition on the Lehman College campus. A major component of this project was documenting the research informing this intervention in monograph form to distribute across CUNY campuses to promote the implementation of this intervention beyond the Lehman College campus• Collaborated with contractor in synthesizing proceedings from the Men’s Health Symposium and designing an educational fact sheet on men’s health with strategies for improving minority men’s health that was distributed nationally• Analyzed qualitative data collected from focus groups as part of the Community Health Needs Assessment in North and Central Brooklyn on safety-net hospital access and access to healthcare
